My favorite Fall tradition is searching for fun-shaped pumpkins at local nurseries, patches, and even markets to adorn our home for the season. The hardest part is limiting myself to purchasing only a few pumpkins at each location. Here are some of my favorite spots for finding the perfect pumpkins.
Westbrae Nursery in Berkeley always has a set up for pumpkin perusing, and all of the purchases go to support a local school. We usually pick up a few tiny pumpkins from here; they have the best deal we've seen so far for tiny pumpkins.
While you're here you can peruse their selection of gardenware and plants!
Yarrow Nursery boasts a lovely selection of pumpkins in many shapes, sizes, and textures all beautifully displayed throughout the nursery. I could spend hours here enjoying the pumpkin scenes and plant life.
Grab a wagon and explore the ground's selections! Ponder on if this is someone's backyard! Have your kid pose at each pumpkin display!
Bishop's is a legit pumpkin farm and I am all for it! It's a bit of a drive from where we live so the two times we've gone we made a weekend getaway out of it. You can shop for pumpkins in their pumpkin shop or you can travel into the farm and pick one directly off of the farm.
They also have a U-pick sunflower garden, treats, movie night, campfire pits for s'mores and picnics, tractor rides, and endless grounds to peruse.
