They added such a lovely splash of colour to the scene, echoing the yellow of the wattles on the far shore and the gorse nearby. I'm happy with the foreground and the sky. I like that little patch of magenta I added in as a background to the daffodils. It really helps them pop. In contrast the far riverbanks and hills are flat and uninteresting.
