We were away at the time and one of our sons rang me and said there was a stray cat and what should he do. We had a very old and timid cat and thinking this was one of the large feral cats we'd seen around the bush I told him to throw some water on it to get it to leave. He rang back a few minutes later and said it definitely knew humans and was quite small and could he feed her. She stayed and became a wonderful addition to our family, even perking up our old cat. Mink is now sixteen and has some health problems but is still enjoying life with us. We though the move might be difficult for her but she adapted quickly. We'd been worried about living close to a road with a lot of traffic but she has never gone down to the road. She happily divides her time between our son's unit and our house. Like a lot of cats she spends a fair quota of her life napping. Here she is curled up in her bed by the fire after a busy day of lazing around! | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
