To Build 350 Homes
The Planning Board Monday night approved plans for the future construction of 350 homes, the largest single development in the history of the Town in the Westover area.
Developer Leo Wolf informed the MESSENGER that he will construct three model conventional-style homes on Westover Parkway near Nichols Street.
Wolf divulged that the homes will be in the $20,000 to S22.000 category. . . just as the rest of the homes we have built there are." He says he plans to begin construction as close to the end of the year as possible. Wolf also stated that no slab-type units are contemplated in the development.
The eventual development will be in the area between Westover Parkway and New Pond It was also announced that some 26 streets will be layed out in the area. The house lots will be 15.000 square feet. Architect Lester Lechtcr has been assigned to design the homes.
