This will be a shorter post, and the only reason it took so long was that I was hoping for feedback on the documentation about Inkle Weaving 101 that I wrote after I taught the class. I didn't get that yet, so let me know if anyone has any!
The website says "An Tir Collegium is a venue and a mechanism to encourage people to participate in the arts and sciences, and guides them through this process in a way that does not compromise the gains made in the artistic and scientific communities to date." (https://collegium.antir.org/) In modern terms, it's a weekend of classes about nerdy subjects, some lecture based and some more hands on skill learning. I've taught before in 2016 and 2019 about natural dyes. This time I decided to volunteer and talk about my silkworms as a way to get started on documentation. You can find the powerpoint slides here:
I also volunteered at the last minute to teach a class called Inkle Weaving 101 as I happened to have a my loom, a friend's loom, and my box of threads, heddles and finished projects. So that worked out well. Both were well attended and feedback seemed positive. That presentation can be found at:
