For this module, we were also required to design a letterhead that we could potentially send to clients. Here is my development through this design process.
Image 1 is the first practise letterhead we made during the tutorial using a provided monogram. The layout is in asymmetrical columns, and the information is lined up neatly.
Image 2 is where I changed the information to be my own with my logo.
I developed this further in image 3 where I reduced some of the information along the bottom, and made the letter purple like in my brand colours. This was to try and bring an element of my personality in, I feel like I am quite a colourful designer, so wanted my printed deliverables to reflect this.
The 4th image is the same as the 3rd, except in CMYK, which these deliverables will be printed in. It made the colour look quite dull and muddy, and I didn't like it as much.
The 5th design is where I changed to green, the new colour that I added to my RGB and CMYK palettes. I tried the green background at a lower opacity.
For my final design, I realised I wanted the green to be full opacity. I removed the address in the top corner as Noemi said this was fine, and removed some of the links at the bottom to keep it neater. The lines of text at the bottom are the same throughout all the printed deliverables other than the business card.
