Pattern, Paper and Transformation Show, Paula Krieg. Poster Design by the brilliant and talented Heather Bellanca
In a few days work of mine will be hung in the Great Hall of the Historic Salem Courthouse, about 5 miles from my home. I'm deep into the nuts of bolts of finishing things up, so this will be just a short post to announce that this show is coming up, September 6, opening from 5- 7:30.
Tools on a side table in my Living Room
I'll write about the work I'm showing once the show is up. For now, here's a peek at what's going on. I've basically taken over our living room. The heavy lifting of making work is happening in the workshop areas that I have, then they head to the living room for finishing.
Long Table with works in Progress
As things get done I find somewhere to keep them out of harms way.
This has been a super stressful time for me. I realized that, for all the work that I do, I never think about taking what I'm thinking about and hanging it on a wall. I've had to make some new pathways in my brain.
Volvelles and Enclosure, in progress
I happy to say that in these last few days I'm enjoying seeing things coming together. There's lots I want to write about, but that will have to wait until after the opening.
You're invited. Salem Community Courthouse, 58 East Broadway, Salem NY. Opening September 6, 2024, 5 -7:30 pm
