Not neccessarily my most skillfully executed subject but one I do love. I'm constantly on the look out for little boats drawn up on the bank because I like the way they nestle into the grass and reeds with the river as a backdrop. It was the light shining so brightly on this little white rowing boat that caught my attention. It was like a spotlight had been trained on it. I included one of the many boats in the background to help the composition flow a little better. I didn't want the jetty and marina boats distracting from the simplicity of the single white boat. Give yourself permission to leave stuff out to make your art say what you want it to say. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
