As I left for work today it was walkies time for the doggy daycare nearby. The dogs have two walks a day and when they are all moving they look like puppy clouds
I saw the first batch of advent calendars in store last week, but this week they had multiplied. Too soon!
I felt last year that the market was a little over-saturated. Some stores and brands (for example Babor) had Easter calendars this year too, which seemed to end up on the summer sales.
These beautiful antelope carvings were in a shop in the Old Town. I fell in love with the small one. They look so graceful
This Liquorice Allsorts jewellery really appealed to me. I am not sure whether Liquorice Allsorts is British or international but they really take me back to my childhood. I don't ever have a craving for them but when I start to eat then I can't stop.
This is one of my favourite shops to browse when I am in the vicinity. The shop is located in an old fire station and they sell beautifully curated household items, jewellery, soaps and greeting cards. Here is their website
I spotted these jeans and wondered how the name Karen had become the descriptor of a middle aged woman who wants to speak to the manager. At one time the names used for these women were Janet, Brenda and Karen, but for some reason Karen took off. It was a very popular name for people in my generation and I feel really sorry for the fact that their name has become a joke.
