This is a monthly link-up hosted by KateW at Books Are My Favourite and Best. Each month a book is chosen as a starting point and linked to six other books to form a chain. A book doesn't need to be connected to all the other books on the list, only to the one next to it in the chain. The rules are:
- Link the books together in any way you like.
- Provide a link in your post to the meme at Books Are My Favourite and Best.
- Share these rules in your post.
- Paste the link to your post in the comments on Kate's post and/or the Linky Tool on that post.
- Invite your blog readers to join in and paste their links in the comments and/or the Linky Tool.
- Share your post on Twitter using the #6Degrees hashtag.
- Be nice! Visit and comment on other posts and/or retweet other #6Degrees posts.
This month's starting point is The Museum of Modern Love by Heather which I haven't read but I am interested in taking a look at because there are varied opinions from what I can see.
I'm linking this to a short story I got on Amazon First Reads last month by one of my favourite authors, Isabel Allende - Lovers at the Museum.
Next is a book I listened to on audiobook in 2020 The Museum of Forgotten Memories by Anstey Harris (also called Where We Belong), I can only remember bits and pieces and it was enjoyable enough, but not a favourite and not one I would reread.
The next book title I'm linking with the word Memories
Memories of May by Juliet Madison which is part of a series of books set in Tarrin's Bay each with a different month in the title.
Next up is The Memories that Make Us by Vanessa Carnevale (also called The Memories of Us), I remember really enjoying this novel (my review)
Because I try to choose books I've read or own, I'm continuing this chain with Memories with my next book being The Memories We Hide by Jodi Gibson, a book I've had on my Kindle for far too long.
Next, I'm linking with the word Hide with Nothing to Hide by Claire Boston which is part of a really good romantic suspense series.
The last 4 books are also linked by the covers, each has a person on but we can't see their faces, also they are each by wonderful Australian women writers. This wasn't a very imaginative chain but a chain with some good books.
Next month (September 7, 2024), the chain starts with After Story by Larissa Behrendt, this has been on my TBR list for ages, I might see if I can read it before then.
