No, it's UMD Special Collections' newest collection in Literature and Rare Books! We are excited to announce our newly accessioned Comic Book and Graphic Novel Collection is ready for researcher use. The Comic Book and Graphic Novel Collection includes comic books and graphic novels covering a variety of series and genres, from superheroes to the supernatural, from Daredevil to Edgar Allan Poe. The collection consists of 390 comic books and 4 graphic novels, and dates from 1945 to 2022, with the bulk of the collection being original DC and Marvel comic books from 1960 to 1970. Included is comic books and manga based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe, William Shakespeare, and Mary Shelley.
