I'm trying to get back to my usual rhythm but it's really hard for me to do that right now. I'm glad that someone recommended the Cookie House Mysteries to me because when I'm in a reading slump or when my schedule is too hectic, a good cozy mystery is comforting. They're easy to read and somehow, despite the fact that the plots usually involve dead people, the setting is usually bright and sunshiney. It kinda reminds me that there are good people in the world, and to stop and enjoy the simple things. I'm in the middle of book 2 of Cookie House Mysteries, "Sugar and Vice".
