There isn't enough cabinet space and my coffee cups are taking up a big chunk of my countertop in front of the coffee maker. I need a wall cabinet for coffee cups! I have wall space near a corner but the cabinet needs to be shallow—just deep enough for one cup. I couldn't find anything already built on the home improvement websites. I decided to build one myself. The slideshow below tells the story. I have my beloved old radial arm saw from Sears and stackable dado blades from Home Depot. I cut rabbets and dadoes and glued most of it together—maybe 2 screws and very few nails in the whole thing. Those little dowels worked perfectly for tight-fitting joints with no nails. Best of all, I used up some of the lumber stockpiled in my garage! I'm named after Jack Manders, my dad's dad. I never met him; he passed when my dad was a teenager. Jack Manders made cabinets for a living. I wish my dad could see this post! | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
