Sometimes, out of curiosity or desperation, I revisit my older blog articles and am surprised how much they still apply to whatever project I'm currently working on. The one reposted below has loads of resources about creating the perfect villain in your story--and yes, every story needs a good villain.
I simply love my mood when I wrote this back in 2020, where the author becomes the villain in the process of writing their story. Enjoy and let me know how delving deeper into your villain(s) helped your story find it's shape.
Happy writing...and revising...and editing...and marketing...and all the endeavors of creating,
Celaine Charles
P.S. If you've read any of my books and enjoyed them, I would be ever grateful for a positive review on Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, BookBub and/or the like. Reviews help smaller authors like me get noticed more, and that provides the opportunities to bring you more books. Thank you in advance!
