The event was sponsored by USAID and the Gerry Roxas Foundation amongst others, and included a wildlife photo exhibition, part of which you can see in my sketch. The exhibition had these rattan decorative archways … which were adorned with green leaves made from plastic drinks bottles. According to Wikipedia the Isabela Oriole (the yellow bird in my sketch) is a species of the oriole family endemic to Luzon which was presumed to be extinct until its rediscovery in December 1993.
