The Philippines celebrates Mother's Day on the second Sunday of each May. However in the UK it is celebrated about three weeks before Easter (rooted in the Christian observance of lent). These are the flowers our daughters sent on 12th May. For a change, in this sketch I used watercolour pencils (they are all #DerwentStudio except the purple violet which is #FaberCastell) and used negative space to show the white flowers.
