I am mystified why I have not been before. I grew up on trains, I lived in walking distance of the station, I have known people who volunteer in the museum and in five decades I have never been to this lovely museum. It was truly inspirational to engage with the inventiveness and craftsmanship of the interiors of trains. It is a special world to stand inside the cabin of a steam engine.
