Since I was a teenager, I have loved rosewater and witch hazel skin toner. I particularly like putting into the fridge in hot weather and misting my face with it when the heat gets too much. My mum had her own recipe, which was passed down from her mum.
My friend makes her own and I adore it. It smells so nice and rosy and the witch hazel gives it a bit of a zing. There are loads of recipes on the internet.
If that sounds like a bit of a faff, the Thayers one has always been a favourite of mine, and it is easy to find online.
