Decans in 2024

Andrew

March 4

Each year, I make up a chart of the Sun's entry into each decan for the year, for my Patreon sponsors and others. Here's the chart for the astrological year that begins in about two weeks, and runs through the rest of 2024 into March 2025 (click here, or on the image to get the PDF.)

Each year I find that I need to do a fair bit of preparation for the Decans coming up from Aries I to Pisces III in the coming year. I want to re-think my strategy for the coming year, and consider what I might want to say about each season as it approaches. Going through the Decans is also how I do a preliminary walk-through of the year to see what I am concerned about, what I feel is important to write about, and how I want to approach the task of exploring and explaining the year ahead.

No astrologer can answer every question about the future, and no astrologer would want to know all of that in perfect detail. But it becomes a part of the business of being an astrologer to provide useful resources to a community of practice, and this list is central to my own practice. Maybe it will help inform, or even begin, your own studies in this ancient art.
