just a mile or two up the hill from where I live - the University of Victoria
I took night school classes there and then a full year of Japanese language and Pacific and Asian studies
at the same time, son Paul was there studying linguistics
now grandkids, Jillian and Iain are in their 1st and 5th years
and across the main road and in the trees is Frank Hobbs elementary school where I went for grade 3
the flowers, lower left,are where Finnerty Gardens are located
they are know for the old and some rare rhododendrons
occasionally, when the weather is nice, I take my drop spindle and go and sit by the pond and spin
