Happy New Year!
This year I decided to make a visual 2024 to-do list via my blog. A couple are due this month!
First off is a joint project Dave and I started over seven years ago. It's a scene from the condo we rented in Kona, Hawaii back then. I'm working on the palm trees.
He also has another joint project in mind that will involve me making this little critter out of fabric.
I've not yet finished the small quilts that will hang over our tub in our newly renovated master bath. Here are just some of the parts of that project that have been hanging on my design wall for months! I really want to finish these in the next couple.
This next project, Toward 2050, I have until December to finish. It involves creating flags. I signed up to do 40 - what was I thinking? However, they are not that large and it really only involves 20 full pieces of fabric. I've just started cutting them out. My idea is to do a lot of stamping and some stitching. You can join too if you'd like. Here is a link to the project.
Projects that need to be done this month is a challenge for the Facebook Postcard Fabric Art group. It's all about tea so I took a picture of my tea cup and the pitcher I use every morning.
And this is a challenge in the current issue of Quilting Arts Magazine. These are several of my pieces of fabric printed with collard green leaves.
And lastly is a non-sewing, non-fabric project for garden art. I picked these up at thrift stores the last couple months. Can't wait to play with them.
Looking at this visual list, I think it's quite doable.
Hope this year will be full of joy, peace, good health, and love for your and yours. As always thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you.
