Welcome Back

Here is my poem for, the Writers Digest, Poem a Day Challenge, for November 2023. The prompt was, to write a declaration poem. I will link to the site, at the end of the post, if you wish to join in too.

Declaration poem

It is November, I do declare!

I do not like, this month.

But hip hip hooray, for poem a day,

It really helps me, want to stay.

To brave the gloom and cold and rain,

And write some poems, to ease my pain.

I'll bundle up, in gloves and blanket,

With pen and journal to explain.

In April and November, Writers Digest run the PAD challenge. This is where the propts I've been following, have come from.

I don't do well on demand, but I like to collect the prompts in a book. Sometimes the words just arrive, then I write them down. If not, then I just save the prompt, for another time.

When will I see you again?

I'll be putting the poems I wish to share on here, up once a week. That way, when health prevents me posting, you will still have something to look at for a while.

Thanks for sticking with this blog, even when it goes quiet for AGES.
