Hi friends! I hope you are having a lovely weekend! The kids are around a bit more this holiday week and this morning Lila and I made some beautiful soaps! I have a video on this project coming soon because I think they would make wonderful gifts or craft fair items to sell and they are quick to batch up! Hubby and I got the flat tree built this week (I'll have a video on that too) and I was a bit disappointed in it but I put my glass Christmas ornaments on it today and liked it much better. My kids think it's OK but they are not down with having it in lieu of an actual Christmas tree. They will let me slide one year, haha! I'll probably cave and put up a tree as well but we'll see. So, what have you been up to? Let's catch up in this week's Sat Chat!

Stuff I mentioned:

Lila and I made soap! We used this USA-made soap base and this colorant and we added some dried lavender and oatmeal to our soap. We used a loaf pan for a mold and we melted the soap base in a Pyrex measuring cup. It looks so pretty, tutorial coming soon!
There are still spots left on week 2 of the Trip to France, come paint with me!

I didn't get my outdoor decorations up yesterday like I had hoped but tomorrow is supposed to be mild so maybe then. I have not been too ambitious with housework/decorating lately so we will see. Someone has to keep the couch from floating away. Til next time happy crafting!
