Observe Education Week- F. A. Cleveland School observed Education Week with a book fair and other activities to mark the occasion. Some of the pupils are shown at the fair.

Today at the F. A. Cleveland School, Norwood, highlights of the observance of "American Education Week," as parents visit classrooms, browse at the Book Fair, and observe the prize-winning posters designed by children of all grades.
In a broad observance of Education Week, the Cleveland School events were arranged through Miss Dean, Principal. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Michaels, President of the Parent Teachers Association; and Mr. and Mrs. John R. Zahorsky, Vice-President and Book Fair Chairman.
In cooperation with the Art Department, a poster contest sponsored by the Cleveland Parent Teacher Association was held early this week. Children designed posters of books they enjoyed best. These posters were viewed and judged, and the prize winners were as follows: Grand Prize winners Linda Firth, for Grades 1 through 3, and Thomas Kennedy, for Grades 4 through 6.

Today classroom visitations were made by parents who observed their children during an average school days' schedule.
To close today's activities the Cleveland P.T.A. is sponsoring a book fair which was opened from 9:30 a.m. this morning and will be open to 9:30 p.m. this evening. The children's poster designs are on display at the book fair.
Parents were urged to attend the book fair so they could view a display of books and literature for children. Teachers will be present at the fair this evening to assist parents on book selections.
