this is what my street looked like a month ago
Friday I ate my breakfast to the screeching sound of chain saws
two old trees across the road "had to go"
the municipality will plant new ones but it will be years before they are more than just skinny sticks
the Studio Tour was one of the best I've had in my 11 years - both for sales and the interesting people who came
I created a space for the Happy Gang to join the fun
set up a display of fibre, handspun yarn, the woven shawl and the book "In Search of Wild Silk"
Saturday was so busy I didn't have time to weave but did get a few inches done on Sunday
the crazy tea towel warp is slow to weave but fun to experiment with colours
I never thought orange and purple would go together!
