sponsored by the MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina
Description:
In the summer of 2023, the MacKenzie hosted artist-in-residence Lucie Chan. Together with the help of the community, Lucie created a large-scale sketchbook, as well as 15 handmade sketchbooks located in our BMO Learning Centre.
In this 3-part workshop, we will create our own unique sketchbook inspired by the artist-in-residence sketchbook project. Participants will learn the paper marbling technique of suminagashi to create a one-of-a-kind cover. They will also explore bookbinding techniques and ideas for image creation.
All required materials will be provided.
