Over the last several days, the first building built for hospital purposes in the town of Norwood, the Plimpton building, was demolished. The building was constructed in 1926, and named for Herbert M. Plimpton, president of the original Board of Trustees of Norwood Hospital.
We've included some photos of the interior when it was used as a medical library in recent decades.
