In my first post today, I mentioned how I changed to 'jeans' buttons on my jacket
You know how you often find replacement buttons enclosed when you buy jeans? My jeans buttons hardly ever come off but if they do, I could never manage to get the replacement on.
Now I have one of these little tools and it works really well. I recently changed my standard denim jacket buttons to snazzy painted ones and it looks fantastic.
You pop the parts of the button into each side, place them on either side of the jacket/jeans/shirt and apply pressure. When the denim is too thick I use a hammer to add the extra pressure. Works like a charm and the buttons are on the garment nice and solid. I wish I had found out about these gizmos years ago!
