How do you know what media to add on watercolor?

Hi friends! As you probably know, watercolor is my favorite medium, BUT I really love watercolor along with other media. Mixed media refers to any art that is made with two or more art materials (not including the surface/substrate), and it is a wonderful way to expand the limitations of watercolor.

Krylon fixative (optional-for pastel pencils)

White gel pen: Uniball Broad or Gelly roll assorted sizes
White paint pen
Ink filled brush
