For me
Time will go by anyway
It is never too late to start or stop something because time will go by anyway. We never know how much time we have left, so don't put special things off if you can do them now. Tell people you love them, don't be consumed by work, apologise to people you have hurt. Find something good in each day.
Time heals all wounds
Some wounds will always hurt, but not as bad, and not all the time. I have been through breakups and bereavements where I felt such emotional pain I did not know how I would survive. Over time though, I realised that an hour, two hours, a day, two days would go by and it did not hurt. And when it hurt, it didn't hurt so badly. Time and patience is underrated.
Time goes fast
Don't waste time worrying about what other people think, or what society says you should and shouldn't do. Wear your hair long at any age, wear what you want, and don't spend precious time being hungry, angry, on stupid diets, or worrying about things you cannot change. I was shocked to realise the other day that 9/11 was TWENTY TWO YEARS ago. In my mind it seemed about eight years ago.
