with time to think and then beginning to un-weave, I decided to go with #3
take it all out, correct the mistake and start again
it wasn't so difficult to un-stitch the hemstitching
then un-tie the warp threads up to the missed dent (slot) in the reed
and move each warp end (two at a time) over one slot to the left
as the remaining warp is still threaded and the reed rests in the upright beater this takes a bit of maneuvering
holding the beater with one hand and threading with the other
tie the warp threads back on the front beam and adjust the tension
start the weaving, do the hem stitching again
the fourth weft is the natural colour of red eri silk
and voila! - weaving again
