The members of the graduating class of the Nursery School conducted by Mrs. Winifred Paine in the Junior High School pose for their official class picture.

Before a capacity audience of parents and friends, graduation exercises for the class of 1950 of the Nursery School conducted by Mrs. Winifred Paine in the Norwood Junior High School were held Monday afternoon with the graduates attired in white caps and gowns, stepping forward to receive their diplomas from John Corcoran, principal of the Junior high School.

In order that the tiny graduates might feel at ease, the graduation exercises were held in their classroom with its appropriate nursery. The program, staged where they were given their diplomas, found every member of the class participating.

The entire class appeared in one number, "'The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers," and this was followed by a skit called ' The Eensey Weensy Spider," which featured Paula Stone. Ruthann Clark, and Reda Ann Holmberg The 'Hop Scotch Polka" followed with the members of the cast, Susan and Peter Larson and the entire supporting class attired in appropriate costumes. Kate Crowley sang "Daddy's Little Girl'' to the delight of the audience. "Hokey Pokey," a dance number, featured Reda Ann Holmberg supported by Robbie Borowski, Paula Snow. Dougie Glover, Johnny Marshouk. Ruthann Clark, Sandy Bonney and Connie Howard. Kathy Donahue appeared in a skit called "Little Teapot." The entire class and Susan Larsson participated in "I Wuz a Wabbitt," which brought forth gales of laughter. Connie Howard depicted "Mary and her little Lamb." and Leah O'Leary and Peter Larsson appeared in a "Jack and Jill" number. "I'm a lonely little Petunia" was sung by Marianne Barrett, and "Where is Thumkin" was enacted by Erie Brown. Robbie Borowski, attired in a natty cowboy outfit, sang "Big Rock Candy Mountain" to wind up the exercises.

Principal John Corcoran complimented the young graduates and presented diplomas to Kate Crowley, Connie Howard, Norman Libby, Kathy Donahue, Sandy Bonney, Ruthann Clark, Reda Ann Holmberg, Robbie Borowski, Marianne Barrett, Stanley Palleiko, Susan Larsson, Johnny Marshouk, Paula Snow, Dougie Clover, and Eric Brown. Ann Clark was absent The class pages who assisted Mr. Corcoran were Leah O'Leary and Peter Larsson.
