Professor Jean V. Dethier, retiring as Supervisor of Music in Norwood Schools after twenty-eight years service, was honored by the student body of Norwood High School at the annual awards Assembly on Monday, June 1.
Valmore Pelletier, president of the Student Council; Richard Bunker, president of the Senior Class; John Doyle, president of the Junior Class, and Marcia Pelletier, vice-president of the Sophomore Class, represented the entire Student body al Ilia proceedings and presented a cheek to the Professor.
Professor Dethier will retire at the end of the current school year and will move with his wife from Norwood to Blue Hill, Maine.
