Ground-breaking services for the new Grace Episcopal Church site opposite Winslow Park on Chapel Street, Norwood, were held Tuesday evening with Rev. Edwin W. Grilley, Jr., rector, officiating. Ralph B. Hersey, Jr., was junior warden and Warner Grilley was Crucifier.

A chrome-plated shovel donated by Edward L. Morrill of the Morrill Construction Co., Inc., was used by the rector and junior warden and other parishioners to break ground near the spot where the altar of the new church will stand. Mr. Maurice Witmer of Portsmouth, N.H., is the architect and the Morrill Construction Co., Inc. of East Acton, is the general contractor.

The Grace Church Expansion and Development Committee comprised of: the Rev. Edwin W. Grilley, Jr., Ex Officio; Robert W. Fisher, senior warden; Ralph B. Hersey, junior warden and Mrs. Herbert.
