I am by no means a quilter, although I would love to learn how to be a quilter. Unfortunately, my crafting abilities fall short in the sewing arena. I can barely sew a button on!
Now that I made this card, I'm a little obsessed with making more. I imagine that's how a quilter feels! These are my first ones and I will post later this week my others that I'm still working on.
This is an easy pattern to follow with some helpful tips. Cutting the squares all equally is a must. Using "directional" patterns are tricky when you cut them diagonally, so I would have a few extra square pieces available. I used three patterns. Two were to create the heart shape and the third was used around the heart.

- DSP: Country Floral
- Stampin' Ink Pad: Mossy Oak
- Ribbon: Crinkled Seam
- Adhesive of choice, Dimensionals
- Paper Trimmer #152392
- Bone folder #102300
- Paper Snips Scissors #103579
- Other: Ruler and pencil
Cutting Instructions (measurements in inches):
- Card Base, Petal Pink, 4 ¼ x 11, score at 5 ½
- Basic White, 4 ¼ x 4 ¼
- Mossy Oak, 4 1/8 x 4 1/8
- DSP, three coordinating patterns, 1 x 1
- --- Pattern 1 and 2, you will need 5 square pieces
- --- Pattern 3 (outside), you will need 6 pieces
- Ribbon, approximately 10 inches, enough to wrap around and tie a knot.
Instructions:
- Prepare card base, stamp the sentiment at the bottom close to the edge, set aside.
- Using a pencil and ruler, lightly draw the center horizontally and vertically on the Basic White. (You won't see the pencil marks once you adhere the DSP.)

- Adhere to card base using dimensionals.
