What a year this has been for reading. I've read more books this year than I have since I started tracking my reading on Goodreads in 2010. I really stepped up my reading in the second half of the year and here's hoping I can keep it up next year!
As I've said before, I track my reading on Goodreads. It's always fun to look back on books I've read during the year. There's always at least one book I've completely forgotten the plot of or a book that I find myself thinking, I can't believe I read that book this year. I also rate the books I've read on a scale of one to five stars.
I only had one 5-star book this year:
Book Lovers by Emily Henry
Possibly my favorite book I read this year. I loved the plot and the characters and everything about this book. Read my review here.
Here are some other 4-star books that I really liked:
Dead Silence by S. A. Barnes
A creepy but entertaining book. Read my review here.
The Obsession by Nora Roberts
I feel like I always have one of Nora Roberts's books on my favorites list. This one was so good and I wish I could read it again for the first time.
Up To No Gouda by Linda Reilly
This is the book that established my new love of cozy mysteries. A whodunit set in a small town with a grilled cheese restaurant? Perfection. Read my review here.
The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston
I loved the writing in this book. I thought it was beautifully written which went along with the quirky characters and story. Read my review here.
Alias Emma by Ava Glass
A spy novel that did not disappoint. Read my review here.
Falling by T.J. Newman
I gave this book 3 stars on my Goodreads account, but even though I read it at the beginning of 2022 I find myself still thinking about it sometimes which means maybe I should include it on this list! Read my review here.
Off The Grid series by Barbara Freethy
I read almost this entire series this year about a group of FBI agents who solve crimes and fall in love. I think it's a great series and I can't wait for the next book. Read my review of the series here.
