Highlighting some new release cookbooks today with thanks to Bloomsbury Publishing for the beautiful copies! Members of my household are eager for me to actually start cooking and baking from these but they've got a wee bit longer to wait before that happens. In the meantime, in case these spark your interest...
River Cottage Great Salads by Gelf Alderson out now just in time for the warmer months and all those seasonal ingredients starting to pop back up in the supermarket fresh section.
Good Comfort by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall out 5 October where he makes comfort food healthier, not by taking the tasty things out, but by adding more in, making use of whole ingredients and seasonal diversity.
I'm looking forward to trying out some new recipes as well as cooking a few favourites in a new way. If you're like me and also love looking at cookbooks for the gorgeous food shots, you can't go wrong with each of these. Plus, once you're done with the recipes, you can always just prop the Paul Hollywood one up on the bench and gaze at his beautiful face. There's something for everyone in these books!
