I like pearls, and often wear my late mother-in-law's pearl bracelet and stud earrings. Here is the pearl bracelet with my mother's silver bangle from the 1950s.

When I got married I wore my mother's pearl necklace - also from the 1950s.

I avoid pearl rings though, because they are a little more fragile than I would like. At least a necklace, earrings, and bracelet get less of a hammering.

I have seen pearls of all shapes and sizes. But I have never seen engraved one. Have you? I didn't even know you could do this. These are by Nadja, of Swiss Company By Millin
