After I wrote about the notebook in which I am writing my last wishes, one of my regular blog readers, LaDonna, pointed me in the direction of Peter Pauper Press's wonderful I''m Dead, Now What?' planner. I love it! Find it here
I really like Peter Pauper Press notebooks, and this one is no exception. It is much more structured and planned than my simple notebook, which I think is great because it includes important things that may be left out otherwise. I had not even thought about some of the information in this book. There is another more delicately-named planner with the same contents, called 'The Peace of Mind Planner'
In Sweden there is an electronic ' last wishes' archive called The White Archive, where you can record your last wishes, funeral arrangements, and whereabouts of all your papers. You can have it in paper format as well, but for me it is very emotionless. I would like my last wishes to be in my own handwriting, with sentiment in them. I treasure my mother's handwriting in her recipe books.
Thank you LaDonna!
