I find the juxtaposition of reality versus mirror reflection both beautiful and poignant. Our souls and minds don't age the way our bodies do. It's often a shock to feel 25 inside and see an aged person looking back at you in the mirror. To be offered a seat on the bus on the way home from buying a pretty flowing dress for your young soul. To realise that your life has passed in the flash of an eye and that more of it is behind you than ahead of you.
