The Dior Lady Bag is pretty iconic, and I like how it goes with several styles, from daywear to edgy to casual to evening. I've inspected a few of these over the years, but only recently was able to take photos. In this particular store, the leather of this Lady Bag was particularly ill-suited for quilting. It was really stiff and looked wrinkly with all those stitches. It seemed "wipeable" I guess, but it felt cheap in hand. Branded hardware, nickel-plated brass. Felt solid/ standard.I think this was a medium size Lady Bag, but because of this stiff leather and the size and the zippered closure, it made it very difficult to open. Unless you're carrying only tiny things, it would be difficult to put stuff in and pull stuff out (the zipper's metal teeth also mean that your hand or phone could get scratched while doing so). The stiffness of the zippered bag opening also means forcing it open would risk deforming the bag or causing creasing that would, over time, not go away. Not lined in leather (it really ought to be haha)
There are versions that feature softer leather, which I think handle the quilting a bit better, but are probably more prone to discoloration and/or scratches. I'm also not sure how they hold up in larger sizes with heavier loads of stuff in them. But this just means you should consider the leather carefully when choosing and especially with regard to the bag size (larger size might mean more deformation if softer leather)
I would also note that based on "making of" videos of Dior's Lady Bag posted by Dior itself, these bags are also, sadly, NOT handmade/ hand-sewn. They are entirely machine sewn. I would actually understand the quilting being machine-sewn (as they are mostly decorative), but the assembly and main seams would be better if hand-sewn, especially given the tier they are at and the brand's couture roots. Comparable pricing to Delvaux and Moynat, which have iconic bags that are also hand-sewn, yet Dior's, bafflingly, are not. If you are looking at this price tier for handbags, I would go with the other two that I mentioned instead, although the Lady Bag sure is pretty haha
