Journal size is in 8" x 10" (26 x 20 cm) and thickness around 3 inches (8 cm). The front cover plates has recessed blank central part, surrounded with embossed frame and handmade brass corners. Leather is hand toned and aged in dark brown color tone.
The central detail, the family crest has embossed from thick leather, hardener with special bookbinder mixtures, gilded and aged.
The book block has 300 leaves (600 pages) of 140 gsm weight, blank white paper. The producer of the paper is Italian company Fedrigoni. The high-grade paper does not bleed through and is exceptionally smooth to write on. The inside cover - endpapers are marbled parchment which gives it a nice touch. The gilded and aged paper edges all contribute to that authentic vintage look.
