I've been too busy to post sketches recently, because I was travelling around the UK visiting friends. So this carries on from my last post from Liverpool. During our stay there we made a day trip to the Lake District. It was a very windy and rainy day (when storm Franklin hit), so really we should have stayed at home, but we had planned a trip and thought it was a shame to miss the opportunity. So we drove up and had a pub lunch overlooking Lake Windemere, and then drove around the lake (although through some flooded roads which was a bit scary). This quick sketch was done from the pub (I think it was called Lakeview).
