After getting to Dune du Pilat from Arcachon I started to walk South and came across the oldest Naturist beach in France on the Atlantic beach with rawing surf and miles of Golden sand. There where a few oil blobs on the beach. I spent a week exploring the area sleeping under the stars. In order to get a hostel I would have had to go 60 K back to Bodeaux. My intention was to keep walking south following the coast line, Further down the beach was blocked as a millitary area. So I stayed in the area I was in rather than go any further.
