Welcome Back

Today's verse inspired by the titles in the song The Twelve Days of Christmas, taken litterally. Today, I explore how neighbours might feel, if surrounded by Ten Pipers piping, in the suburbs.

Ten Pipers Piping

First the nine drummers, drumming!

But things are getting worse

There's TEN pipers pipping now!

I'm Trying not to curse!

*

TEN Pipers Piping!

Yes, that's right, I did say TEN

And its not like they are kids,

These are full grown men.

*

I'm sick, I'm tired, I've had enough!

I really need to sleep.

So please, come and sort them out,

Then we can, all get, some sleep.

Here is my cartoon to go with my comedy poem rewrite inspired by the 12 Days of Christmas song.

If you missed earlier posts in the series please go to Day 1,

Where I will be adding links to the rest of the days so you can catch up.

As ever, I like to share useful information here, so here is some historical reference to the 12 Days of Christmas song. This is from Good Housekeeping https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/holidays/christmas-ideas/a29212592/12-days-of-christmas-meaning-facts/

Please share my post, leave me a comment and I'll see you back here tomorrow for the next verse.

May the season be as kind to you as possible
