Welcome Back

Today's verse inspired by the titles in the song The Twelve Days of Christmas, taken litterally. This one explores, the frantic rush that we can get into, on the run up to Christmas. While swans might look serene, there is a lot going on, under the water, to maintain that.

Seven Swans a Swimming

On the surface all is elegant

Beautiful and serene

Underneath a different story

The swearing is obscene.

*

Feet are going like the clappers,

They are getting in a flap.

Coz the present kiddie wanted,

Really looks a lot of ****.

*

The price tag it is heavy,

And no one, has the stock.

But if they do not get it,

They will feel a total crock.

Please share my post, leave me a comment and I'll see you back here tomorrow for the next verse.

May the season be as kind to you as possible
