Here is another early sketch from when I lived in Bath. I still remember doing this (despite it being done 30 years ago). I sat on a bench on my way home from work and it was really cold - even though I was wearing fingerless gloves. I used to live up the hill to the right and had to cross the river (that's a river in the foreground) and go under the railway viaduct. I still think of this as my first "urban sketch"…though I am sure I did others before this.
