We wound down a bit before the half term break, mainly because our church was running a holiday Bible club during the half term break and so any extra time was spent planning and preparing for that.

Herby enjoyed her first year attending the holiday club while Albie and Cosby had fun with Nana.

This week we're getting back into our routine. For the most part we're carrying on with what we started last half term. Herby has started a multisports group. She had her first session today and told me it was 'boring' and then realised she meant 'tiring'!

Last half term Herby began filling in a map of the UK. This half term I'd like to make some of our own maps, beginning with drawing a scale plan of our living room and perhaps other rooms or the garden and then working up to a map of our street or village.

Herby and Albie also learnt a bit about India this week. My husband spent a month there when he was younger and was able to show them some photos and items from his travels.
