Today's prompt being "Gathering/Homeland, place of the Heart."
This is absolutely NOT what I had in mind for this prompt at first, but I woke up recently with the urgent need to drawn Jane Eyre as a Gnome (in slightly Tockverse style, of course). And of course, her Rochester joined her (and how great for Fanart Friday!).
Obviously they don't have the most perfect relationship or circumstances, but their story is my favorite, and I feel like this is more in the spirit of where they end up - and, of course of course, hitting the vibe of both parts of the prompt today. Especially since their tale is where I go for comfort when things are very challenging in my own life. Gathering my inner forces, in a heart-felt, heart-safe place.
(Also roughly based on their portrayals by Ruth Wilson and Toby Stevens, from my favorite of the film adaptations.)
