The last couple days I've been adding to my art for the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana Holiday Fair. I had taken a bunch of goodies down there a week ago. When I noticed someone else had cards, Andrea told me I could definitely bring more stuff. So I've been making a few cards to add to the sale. Here is my display. The sale starts today.

For the cards I made another snippet roll. For the tutorial on making one, check out this post. This is only part of the roll.

Then I cut the roll into 4.5 x 4.5 inch squares.

I stitched, zig-zagged the edges, and then added embellishments. Here are four of the cards all ready to take to the sale.

Here are closeups of a couple of my favorites. The embellishment is an old earring.

I've used a pin where the backing came off for this card. I just glued it to the fabric.

This last one is not part of the snippet roll. It was one I made from my dyed fabric.

These old earrings and broken pins make great embellishments for these cards made from fabric scraps. I had so much fun making them this past week so there will be more in my future.

Meanwhile, Molly continues to grow. We've now had her two years. She's a sweet, loving cat, but she meows more than we like. She's even got Ally, who never speaks, to mew!

Hope you have a colorful and fun weekend. Thanks for dropping by.
